Coil Types manufactured in our Coil Shop

Dowding & Mills Coil Shop specialises in making all types of coils, and because we have our own insulation engineer and design team we can design purpose-built coils or improve the design of existing coils.

We manufacture 50/60Hz coils with Class F or H systems, using resin rich or V.P.I. technology at any voltage. We make all types of D.C. coils (armature, field, interpole, equaliser) utilising our own Kapton covering machine.

For customers with Vacuum Pressure Impregnation facilities we can offer one of our successful hybrid designs.
